SameDay is a free tool for entertainment and educational purposes. By using it, you agree to the following terms.
SameDay is a free, web-based tool that compares your age in days to the ages of historical figures at the time of notable events in their lives. It is designed for entertainment and casual historical education.
While we strive for accuracy, SameDay relies on a combination of curated data and information sourced from Wikidata, a publicly editable knowledge base. Historical dates, particularly for older events, may contain inaccuracies. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any milestone data presented by the app.
SameDay should not be used as a scholarly or academic source. If historical accuracy is important for your purposes, please verify dates through authoritative primary sources.
SameDay does not require registration, an account, a subscription, or any payment. The service is provided free of charge and supported by advertising.
All personal data you enter (name, birthdate, personal milestones) is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. We have no access to this data. You can delete it at any time using the "Reset App" button in Settings. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
You agree to use SameDay for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the application for commercial purposes, or use automated systems to scrape data from the site at a volume that impacts performance for other users.
The SameDay name, design, and original curated milestone database are the property of the site's creator. Milestone data sourced from Wikidata is available under Wikidata's own licensing terms (Creative Commons CC0). Wikipedia content linked from the app is governed by Wikipedia's licensing terms.
SameDay integrates with third-party services including Wikidata, Google Fonts, and Google AdSense. Your use of these services is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of third-party services.
SameDay is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. Use of the service is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the creators of SameDay shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service.
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of SameDay after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
If you have questions about these terms, you can reach us through our About page.
